Mikaela is originally from Vancouver, BC. She works as an Associate Director at The Knowledge Society, helping to build the next-generation of global leaders by teaching kids to solve global problems using emerging technologies.
Her friends describe her as creative, ambitious, and silly. Mikaela is always smiling in class, and you will get that same vibe when she is on the podium - fun, challenging rides, with lots of smiles and resistance. You can expect to hear a wide genre of music in her classes including pop, throwbacks, hip-hop and r&b, classic rock, and alternative/indie.
When she’s not working or at RISE, she enjoys a good run, or knitting in front of the TV.
